Choose the caller ID for outbound calls
Show a dedicated number, your own verified number or your SIP phone system’s number.
Three options
- A dedicated number bought in your account: select it in the agent ("General" → "Phone number"). No verification needed, and it can also take callbacks.
- Your existing number (landline or mobile): verify it with a code sent by text or phone call. It shows up for your contacts, but inbound calls to that number do not reach the agent. (Paid plans.)
- Your SIP phone system: the caller ID is whatever your provider allows.
Rules to follow
- Only display numbers you own or have the right to use.
- Some countries prohibit displaying a foreign or unverified number.
Tip
Before a large campaign, call your own phone to check the number that is displayed.
